The BIOCON system represents the most efficient method for physico-chemical wastewater processing in marine vessels today. Its operation is based on a physico-chemical process involving the oxidation of organic matter and bacterial disinfection through chlorine action in the form of NaOCl (sodium hypochlorite) within an oxygen-rich environment. The quality of the treated wastewater at the end of the process is always suitable for discharge from the vessel.
